Thanks. (Sorry I didn't reply at the time, I think I'd already logged off and got in the shower ready to leave by then.)

Is The Murderers still there - cracking pub but it was about 20 years ago that I went!

Good luck for next season, always quite liked Norwich, hopefully you'll bounce back at the first attempt.

£50?! Bloody Hell! And then you've got the tv licence on top of that. I sincerely hope that £50 includes a bundle on phone calls & broadband...

    You've got me worried now....

Just checked, was a bit out. It's £42 per month, including broadband but still pay BT for phone line rental. I don't have movies, just the sports package.

Recently got a call to try to get me to add some other packages which is where the £50 came from.

Anyway, whatever it is, as soon as I can decide on a reliable broadband supplier it will be going. Some months I don't watch it for more than a couple of hours. Madness.

Anyway, glad I've got it for this Friday evening. I'm secretly hoping that Preston sign Joey Barton on loan and get him to man-mark Chris Morgan.

Yep, certainly is! One of my favourites in the city centre. Love their Murderers Ale plus they have one of those jukeboxes that holds a million plus tracks which is great for musos like me! They recently won a battle with the shop-owners opposite to keep their tables and chairs outside the pub, as the shop-owners were complaining the pub's, ahem, 'colourful' clientele were putting off customers! The landlord was quick to dismiss any association with any 'firm' but on most match days you've barely got room to swing a burberry cap in there! I love it though. The Norwich boys are quite affable really (in my experience anyway) and I was drinking with some of them in the Rose Valley Tavern after Sunday's disgrace.

...still pay BT...and TV licence (both about £11 per month now, right?), so that's something like £64 in total - ouch!
I've been with Tiscali for ages and have never had a problem with them (and think they've got a good introductory offer on at the mo). Although like all these companies, it's all plain sailing until you hit a fault, over-charging error, upgrade mistake or try to leave them, so probably someone else would tell you not to touch Tiscali with a ten-foot barge-pole...

    You've got me depressed now

Yes I suppose it is around £64 per month all in.

Agree with you about suppliers - it's like choosing a car. You will always find somebody who says "they're ****" and someone else who swears by them. Not got cable here which cuts down the options a bit.

Thanks for prompting me to look into it.

Sorry; depression's a bit contagious round these parts at the mo!
    Good luck with the cost-cutting...

...actually better sign off proper as the missus will be home soon and we need to get an early dinner tonight before she's back out. I may pop back over time as like I've said before, this is one of the best forums I've been on in a long while, football or otherwise. Just it might depress me (further) hearing talk of Championship signings knowing that's out of our league (literally) now. But it's nice to see how the other half are living, so you never know...
    Au revoir...bon chance!

I'm just thankful of the four points the two Jamie Cureton goals gave us. Without them we would have been in deep ****.

I thought it was three goals, two in one win and one in a draw. But yeah, either way those four points made a difference to our season. More fool Roedent for loaning him out to a relegation rival.
