Son has FIFA10 for PS2 and has been playing last two weeks. Just got promotion to Prem league with Barnsley using all original squad. He tends not to read instructions so has probably been missing things out, but he cannot seem to get anyone to sign for him, and half the players ratings dropped at the end of season, despite getting promoted. There is obviuosly a strategy to getting better players and increasing ratings, but how is this done. Do you know in advance whether a players ratings will go up or down at end of season ? Any advice would be appreciated, but try not to make it too complicated as my son is only 10, although i refuse to play against him cos he beats me every time
also, at the bottom when signing someone, there is an "interest in club" bar. get that to 70-80% by increasing wages and transfer fee and they'll sign
I had the same problem when trying to sign players ! cant explain how to make it easier cos I could'nt sign players even when there interest was 85%.
Theres a bug in the game. It happened to me an i offered around 2 million for a player rated like 40 from a league 2 club and they turned it down. Had a scan around on the internet and it turns out there is a bug but should be fixed soon and will be put right in a update if your on Xbox. Not sure how it happens on the Playstations..
