dont' bother. Seriously all this personal mission statement is a bit la di da. Unless you're applying for a job in marketing. Or the job at Oakwell.
So do you think a works manager is really going to respond well to some la di da mission statement. Just use something short and punchy. Something along the lines of: " Hands on manager with 20 years experience managing high volume heavy manufacturing in a short lead time environment " Use this bit to say why your experience is relevant tot he job you are applying for. Don't just leave it the same for every job. " Looking for a role within similar environment which raises fresh challenges enabling me to develop my knitting habit Use this bit to say why you are looking for that particular job - especially if it's a bit different to what you have done before. Again make it specfic to the job you are applying for. Any more than two lines per section, you're bs ing. If you are just lodging a CV with an agency tell the truth, but try to be as broad as possible to catch as many jobs as you can. Just my advice. Other people may tell you different. But I change jobs like my underpants and it works for me.
Mine was a frivolous reply to M1 Tyke's advice. I didn't mean to trivialise your situation - sorry if that's the way it came across. Good luck with the job hunt.
