JLWBigLil's post the other week about the dearth of young talent coming through locally got me thinking last night. (Yes, I had insomnia brought on by the biannual buggering about with the clocks!) I tried to see if I could think of a decent starting 11 made up entirely of players that have come through our youth system. I also decided to restrict myself only to players that I'd seen in action. This was the best I could come up with:-

    GK Dave Watson

    RB Nicky Eaden
    CD Carl Tiler
    CD Mick McCarthy
    LB Paul Cross

    RM Stewart Barrowclough
    CM Steve Agnew
CM Mark Burton (I really struggled for a 2nd CM!)
    LM Ian Banks

    CF David Hirst
    CF Rory Fallon

Anyone else fancy a go at putting an 11 together?

    Cant beat your team Jay

Probably go for Joyce at RB and Mogs as the other centre back but otherwise a decent team I would have thought
