Does anybody know how to nominate someone for an OBE-MBE etc? Has anyone any experience of the system and how protracted etc it is. I want to know how to nominate my sister. As few smart arsed comments as possible about the honours system would be appreciated. Thanks

I think I have an OBE

Probably in the loft somewhere. Not played it for years. Probably forgot how though now. Unless its like they say about riding bikes.

You need to write to your County Hall who will forward your nomination.

Or you could just make one up on powerpoint and book a Queen lookalike to give it her.

Here is a nomination for you, Steve.

I have just nominated you to become an honourary member of the 'Refuge Bay Deep Sea Angling and Big Spit Club'.

Be assured that this is one prestigious Club.....

You just need to loan a large sum of money to a political party - that should do it.
