Disagree he was pleading everyone when he was scoring and setting up goals more or less every game earlier on in season.

Didn't get involved enough for my liking, again. But he wasn't bad or owt. Thought he came to life once Winnall came on.
And Cranie was great in the 1st half, less so in the 2nd when Dale refused to help him out.
I wouldn't moan about either player.

That the Houriane who again cleared one off the line when they nearly got a quick equaliser? He'd have been one on one with the keeper had Winnall played the through ball slightly earlier too.

Cranie for once lived up to his biling and was the best player on the pitch. Conor was meh not good or bad better when Sam came on a quality player on the same wavelength

Exactly what I said about Hourihane earlier in the week. He's massively lacking in confidence and at the moment just isn't cutting it. Do you leave him in to play himself out of it or give him a rest? Personally I'd go with Scowan and Pearson on Tuesday night and see what that brings.

This all being said, he was still better than Hemmings and Jennings.

Cranie had a good game today, but Hourihane struggled again. Can't play him centrally for me and he therefore is in competition with Jennings and Lalkovic for a place out wide. Lalkovic was the only bright spark in an incredibly drab first half so he plays. Jennings or Hourihane? Not sure...

I wasnt moaning about the win or the team, as you will notice on here a few actually agree with me, in that he needs a rest, nothing more, nothing less, however i still think Cranie is a week link, made a few mistakes and was ar fault for tgeir goal.

My opinions, and i am ENTITLED to them, so **** you. ..

I assume from that answer you think Hemmings and Lita are making the runs then?

Agree Connor is obviously lacking confidence and couldn't wait to get rid of the ball first half. Did better second and certainly sprung to life when Sam came on. Onwards and upwards !!!

Hourihane should definitely be left out for a while. He's been a passenger in games for weeks and we just cannot carry him in his current form. Maybe a spell on the bench will improve his workrate if he realises he's not an automatic pick.

I dispair. Cranie had a decent game and Hourihane did nothing ... apart from clear one off the line , force a great save off their keeper and put some excellent balls into the box which caused chaos in the Vale defence. I agree it wasn't Hourihanes best game but he is still a certain starter for me. Especially if Super Sam is likely to play on Tuesday

only player we had starting who really isn't good enough is Hemmings. He tries hard but is struggling. Maybe he will come good but I can't see it this season

I fear for our midfield if he was dropped.
