I've updated his video. Have a watch if you like. Apart from everything he does in the video, he's lazy, ***** and needs dropping. :)

Your right, wished we had another 6 like him. Good video, and some great goals by the lad.

If only we had a goalscoring and creative midfielder like that. Imagine having a midfielder who was the 6th highest scorer in the league it'd be amazing.

"So apart from the passing, the defending, the goal line clearances, the chances created, the free kicks, the penalties, the corners, the assists and the goals, what has Conor Hourihane ever done for us?":D

Can someone knock up a vid of all the bits when he doesn't score. Just to compare and contrast? Could go on a bit like..

Folk who use the goal scoring and assists argument are as bad as the folk who choose to overlook it.

He's done some great things in a reds shirt this season, but he's also gone completely missing in a high percentage of the last few games.

Here's to hoping he returns to the kind of form shown in this video. We're a far better team (obviously) when he's playing like that.

He's contributed massively in probably 90% of our games this season. I'm sure his goal line clearance against Vale on Saturday goes into the 'corners/penalties/hit and hopes' don't count category, eh? :D

I'm updating his and Winnall's videos as we go along. I'd make videos for others but those two are the only ones who perform on a regular basis in terms of goals/assists etc.

I don't ignore his deficiencies, not at all. But I understand them a little, excuse them even. Just as I did with Butterfield, Hignett, Bullock, Vaz Te, Marcelle etc. Playmakers.

He's had a dip in form, no doubt about it. If he hadn't, he'd be on 20 goals and 20 assists by now and probably transferred somewhere else. I appreciate, rate and enjoy watching the lad, although I'd prefer not to see him out wide like last night. He also seems a lovely lad, and from what folk inside the club say, he is.

I'd say 90% is far too high a figure.

I'm a fan, and if he was playing and hitting the ball like he did in those first three months, imagine how strong our midfield would be considering the impact Pearson and Scowen are making? Four points off the playoffs (not that I want us to go up), but if he clicked again now who knows how the season might go.

Just for the record, I'm not in the 'he doesn't try' camp. I think the effort is there for all to see. My biggest grievance with him (which wasn't evident in the last two games), are the moments when he shirks a tackle, complains to the ref and stops playing the game, and doesn't run with the ball. The latter only being an issue recently, with confidence being low and the team not winning matches.

I like him, he won me a lot of cash earlier in the season when I was betting every game to score, glad i stopped doing it while I was ahead though.

I just think hes gone of the boil and needs dropping for a game or 2, especially if were not goona play him in the center.

For some reason he has stopped shooting from range as ofter, most of the last few times I have seen him shoot its not really been on and its been blocked.

Hes a decent player but hignett he isn't (not yet anyway)

An impressive first few months and several disappointing performances since. Not sure he's in the same class as the likes of Hignett et al...yet. Definitely has potential but would like to see him develop his right foot. There's no real excuse for a professional footballer to be so one footed. Not strong enough to play central midfield in this league for me. Will probably improve for having Sam Winnall back as he provides more options for him. Let's hope these glorifying videos don't make him too big headed! And if he's given corner duties to be on a post, it's inevitable he'll clear one or two off the line during a season...

Cracking video Whitey. And the more I think about it the more I start to realise how ridiculous this onslaught against Conor is. He's scored and created more goals than anyone from our midfield since Howard (I think! unless anyone can prove me wrong?) Let him have a blummin dip in form, if it wasn't for him an entire portion of this board would be even more miserable than they already are!

We could do a whole mini series of the rest of the team doing that. Ramage at times seems to have an allergy to passing to anyone in our team.

Just needs to work at running round aimlessly then rather than wasting his time scoring and creating goals and he will be the complete midfielder.
