    Maybe, but if any club did come in BFC are playing a risky game by potentially losing him for next to nothing.

    the money wasn't worth taking based against getting another season out of him???

    He's going to have to play out of skin to either earn a new contract or show teams he's worth the money he's after. The best option Brain Howard of 12 months ago will have is Barnsley. The cup run will be long forgotten unless he produces the 6 month form of last year - and if we get that its worth £1m for the season!

    Its great news he is staying. Few more goals, few less daft bookings, and he will agree a 2 year max deal certainly with 1-2m buy out clause. He will be better once Anderson is back- norwich at home I hope.

    remember the Darren Barnard saga, when he wanted to much and the club would'nt be held to ransom, well he thought someone would come in and it was Grimsby on a 1/4 of the money he was on at Barnsley.
