Totally in control, never gets carried away and very focused. No spin like previous managers or stupid buzz words. Great manager in the making.
I watched his interview on Player earlier and thought the same. Here's a reds man, a reds supporter, in charge of his club, his first stab at management, winning games galore, just been and won a trophy at Wembley, the first manager to do so in our long history, only the second to win a cup competition, we've just beaten Wigan easily away and taken apart the 'best of the rest' with their ridiculously great away record.... and he's exactly the same as he was on the day he first faced the cameras after LJ departed. He's not once said a word that I've questioned or queried. He's not once made a grand statement. If he's made a claim of any sort, it's been backed up. He comes across as proper genuine. He's an absolute treasure for us and needs to be treated accordingly. If we start losing games next season, whatever the division, can we please ease off a tad with the grief? Compare him to Flitcroft for example. He had that same impact initially, he could do little wrong. But that success clearly affected him. He changed. Don't change, Hecky.
And another reality... when he loses a few he'll be getting as many pelters on here as any one else...enjoy it while it lasts Hecky lad
My favourite manager in 45 years watching the club. Tarn lad. Tarn player. Tarn fan. Tarn legend. 5 year contract.
