No humble pie required, when you go on such a bad run it's only natural to question those in charge.

How high up the table do we need to finish for this season not to be classed as a failure? Yesterday was a nice feeling, probably felt even better the fact it happens once in a blue moon.

No need for humble pie, I've never called for Johnson out...only on the grounds that he's young with a young team and there is a learning curve they should be collectively given a chance at. I never felt we were quite as bad as some suggested (although sometimes we were worse) and that there was some promise.
However LJ was forced IMO to change tactics by a combination of bad results and fan pressure. The credit for me goes to the board (or PC) in backing him with some top notch signings.

No humble pie required for anyone. We were crap earlier this season and there's nowt wrong with saying that. 8 league defeats on the spin usually sees the firing of a manager at any club, never mind one that has been so trigger happy in the past. Can't blame anyone for thinking that was the right way to go this time around. I'm glad we didn't go down that route and I thought the decision by the board to stick with Johnson showed a lot of strength, but it's still too early to know if it was the right decision. Things are still capable of going tits up. I just hope the next time we lose a game or we're on a bit of a bad run, collectively we show more patience because I do buy in to the club's rhetoric that we're stronger together.

There's nowt wrong with changing your mind and a serving of humble pie isn't required every time we do.
