Davey would be under pressure?

doubt it, the board want to stick with him, remember the contract he signed not too long ago?

Barnsley fans expecting too much too soon - that is the bottom line. We are a small town surrounded by cities. Mid-table in this league is a superb achievement - when we reach it

Agree Denno. The board are thinking long term with Davey, that was signalled with the contract offer. We can't afford to keep getting rid of managers.
Davey's made an improvement this season. Next season, if he works wonders on the AWAY form like he did with the HOME this season, we should be laughing!

    maybe from on here

But the club have invested in him and the team. Davey's said that he thinks we'll see the best of some of the new signings next season, and I think that's fair comment.

Spending money = increased expectations though.

Youre right -BUT- Surely we could have expected a better away league record without being too greedy?
