All these hoping/wishing that Davey does go...who would we get to replace him in the next week or two. It would have to be that fast for them to bring in players. But who would we be able to get.

Note I said 'be able to get' and not 'who would you want'!

    no..hence my post

I think it would be a bad time forhim to go, it would leave us searching for a manager in a short space of time.

If he'd been sacked at the end of the season then so be it, time to replace, but that was a month ago.

I'm no Davey fan, far from it but i cant think of a replacement. I posted about Kevin Keegan going to Soton earlier today and somebody said they wished we had Keegan. I wouldn't, despite everything I'd rather have Davey over Keegan. I am 100% sure that the pressure would be too much for Keegan and he'd walk away.
If Davey does go I'd like to see us go for Wilson or Robins.

and like i said, who would we get. Not being obstructive, just interested who people have in mind once everyone gets their wish.

I'm still hoping one day Neil Redfearn comes back to us on the coaching staff.

I don't for one minute think he is. Just interested to know peoples replacements since many are hoping he goes.

Whilst Redfearn was a legend here as a player, how can you be sure that he is any good as a coach?

We don't want sentiment getting in the way of progress!

We would still need a manager and assistant manager though. I think our club is seriously missing having a legend on board in a coaching role. Someone who knows the club inside out and is loved by the fans. People would also show more interest in the club I reckon.

We can't be sure but you never can be 100% until you give someone a chance. He's got enough playing experience and been involved in coaching already.

I dont know if Darren Moore is wanting to go into management or has the necessary badges but I think he would be respected by the players, is already in situ and is well aware of our deficiencies and needs when it comes to the transfer market.

He would be a gamble just like Davey was and anybody else we would fetch in.

I'd like Simon Davey to remain manager

So all those that put in for the mini bus are out of pocket.
