I take it Devaney's the latest to ruffle Davey's feathers then? ...

Don't get me all morose again. Was feeling faintly positive. Why doesn't he just get shut of all players here before he was appointed and have done ?

Devaney's a winger, no winger plays all first team games all season at a consistently high level. He's scored some cracking goals and contributed vastly to our much vaunted cup run last year that Simon took so much credit for. If he's going to replace (or has replaced) Devaney then that player had better be exceptional.

I hope this is just paper talk, but if not then I think it's a terrible move on our part.

I thought someone posted a link to an article with Davey saying it wasn't true? Or did I imagine that?

The Star this morning had Davey saying it wasn't true, and I hope that's the case.

Creates and scores goals .... sometimes from nothing & also works very hard defensively.

Not always 100% on his game but important part of our strongest starting 11 in my opinion.

Bad move to flog him if true.

150k for a 28 year old winger of his ability is a ridiculous price. How much was Mattis?

So, we could potentially buy 2 Mattis's for the price of 1 Devaney.
    Maybe that's the plan.

His goal against Plymouth away 2 seasons ago

Practically a tap in wasn't it?

Those crosses that came in from the right side for the winner against Liverpool and Chelsea in the cup. The cup run that got us to Wembley. They came from Chris Shuker didn't they?

Why sell a proven player for peanuts in favour of some frog who's never played English football.

    Big mistake
