The one at home v watford. Dropping ball, at pace. Devaney, first timevolleyed it, keeping it low and straight.
Ronaldo would struggle to have done that.

Theyre only stirring it up to fill the pages and sell the papers....... Comment in paper says..... "Davey is likley to off-load Devaney as part of a summer shake-up that has already signalled the arrival of Leicester City striker Iain Hume, French winger Mounir El Haimour, and Argentinian midfielder Hugo Roberto Colace".
Lets look at thefacts. Paper claims"Davey is likley to off-load Devaney as part of a summer shake-up" is he really? if this istruethen why wasn'tDevaney transfer listed with the likes of Stan, Sam Togwell, Paul Reid etc. I would then comment that we have signed a left winger, striker & defensive midfielder. As far as I am aware Devaney is right winger, and so I would assume the players signed haven't been brought in to replace him.
Correct me if I am wrong but the rule of thumb when building as squad is to havetwo players for every position. On paper we currently have JCR & Devaney competing for the right wing position! I can understand Blackpool's interest in Devaney, but for us as a clubto sell Devaney would be foolish and would probably mean we would have to sign another winger to add further competition.
Personally I would be very suprised if it did happen..... and also very dissapointed!

Yeah your right, I'll say a 'proper supporters' comment ... ......... 'I trust Mr. Davey will do the right thing for the club' .... Ooh that was too hard ........... nar fook it ......... I prefer this approach ........... ..... 'sell Devaney for peanuts yer knob and tha wants sacking'
How many Ritchie players left...??? seems our Simon has got rid of them all one by one....this was the team that won the play off final... Barnsley: Colgan, Hassell, Heckingbottom, Reid, Kay, Hayes, McPhail, Howard (Tonge 73), Devaney, Richards (Wright 70), Nardiello (Shuker 96). Subs Not Used: Flinders, Austin.
To be fair only 2 of those would be first choice now Howard and McPhail and McPhail chose to leave us. The only other 2 who are good enough for the championship or Hassell and Devaney and wouldn't be first choice for us. The other clubs the players that left are palying for speaks volumes
So you think our squad now isn't better than when Richie left And by the way I'm a massive Richie fan too, just think we've made progress and the failures have been indicative of trying to find cheap players to compete in a higher league
well i said our squad is better than when Richie left and you replied listing players who you felt weren't as good so took that to mean that you didn't think the current squad is as good? Apologies if misunderstood it. Also IMHO the players listed (bar Mattis and Ricketts) are better than the team that got us promoted
Been all over press & radio for last 2 days made offer triggering clause in his contract so allowed to talk to them
