Im open for criticism but im not going to bother arguing back. This is daveys first proper managerial job, he didn't do a brilliant job last season, but he kept us up just thing about that. Although, tonight was *****.
It might be his first but it is a job that he has had for almost two years now I think that is long enough to learn a trade, and if he was doing an NVQ at Barnsley college he would be expected to have got the skills by now.
No one will criticise you They will just feel sorry for you as with all the others who fooled themselves that he would come good, he wont come good he is too arrogant and everyone and their dog saw tonight that they did not want to p[lay for him, no cohesion, no mdiscipline and blaming each other when mistakes were made...
Last season We started pretty well and our home form over the course of the season was the reason we stayed up as we can't win a raffle away from Oakwell. This season we have already lost 2 from 3 at home and are nowhere close to picking up a point on our travels. In fact I can't see where the next point is coming from. So - it ain't looking good is it. You don't need to be Mystic Meg to plot that over a season and see the end result.
Ok, ill argue back. Being a football manager is different to learning a skill @ Barnsley college. Takes alot longer. Sir alex wasn't on his way to managerial success after 2 seasons was he? i doubt he was fighting for relegation but thats not my point, my point is that he learned his trade over a number of years, not just 2.
Davey has been learning his trade in football management/coaching for 11 years though And has worked closely with football managers at a professional level for the last 21 years. He has had two years in his current role but he has had 19 years working up to that.
But theres absolutely no sign that hes learned any fecking thing except how to make excuses. Sorry but a hundred mile round trip plus other costs to watch that kind of performance tends to make you bitter!!
