I would rather have a striker who gets in to goal scoring postions misses them and creates chances than one who does absolutely nothing at all. Ferenczi was very poor and looks a shadow of the player we signed
there is no defence what is the point of him gettin in theses positions when he does look like. in regards to stan what is the other hungarian we had doin imho i do not think he has looked the same since he left
Same end result Ferenczi does **** all. He may as well be sat in the stand for the amount of influence he has on the game. Kayode gets involved, but without fail he fcuks it up. Neither are any use to the team.
So to summarise your defence He may be useless but we have at least one more striker who is even more useless. quality
RE: So to summarise your defence Spot on. Both strikers are awful and we are down if they keep getting picked. Macken and Coulson for me with Cristensen and Nardiello on the bench.
Mark Richards got in the right positions, missed a lot, but his scoring ratio was way above Kayode's.
RE: Mark Richards Richards and Hayes were crap but they werer still loads better than Odejayi and Ferenczi.
I didnt think Hayes was that crap to be honest Maken excepted he is a lot better than the set of Strikers Davey signed to replace the strikers he offloaded
I honestly don't think he's useless. He would be ideal if we had someone along side him who will socre goals by playing off him. Kayode did some great knock downs yesterday but no-one was there. Don't forget Paul Wilkinson never scored but was an integral part of the team because he had Hendrie along side him. And he's only young. Yes he's never going to be prolific but if he does put in a couple his confidence will grow and he'll go on a scoring run. Remember how rubbish Drogba was first season at Chelsea - missed chance after chance and everyone said he was useless
Hold on a minute.. He's 26 to start with, so NOT young in anyones book. And he managed to miss two sitters against Ipswich when his "confidence" should have been hitting record highs. Face facts, the lad is out of his depth.
"Paul Wilkinson never scored" There's some absolute dog **** written on this Board, but I reckon that statement pretty much takes the cake. Are you Nigel Spackman? Your football knowledge is bad enough. 117 career league goals, pretty much all in the top two divisions. http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=8514
9 in 54 games all but 1of which he started... ...is not a good scoring record. If Odejayi had started that many he might have scored 9. And Wilkinson was in a succesful team
