    Just happened across this for the first time - a predictor, which you can use yourself in the style of the BBC one, but which also fills in any missing results with a prediction based on current form with some randomness as well. As you can see, it forecasts that we will sneak in the playoffs in 6th, on 76 points with Gillingham on 75. Interesting.

    I just did it, it had us in 7th in 74 and gills 6th on 79.

    But

    It all looks a bit fishy to me....

    Had us 7th on 73 Gillingham 6th on 75 but when I put my predictions for us and Gills in for the remaining games it had us on 5th Gills on 4th and Rochdale on 6th with Bradford and Millwall missing out

    I love these because if we're honest how many on here could name a handful of players from Millwall, Gillingham, Bradford & Walsall? We're basically predicting results based on a set of players we don't know much about playing against another set of players we know little about.

    All good fun though

    Bradford are the form side, at the minute. I reckon they'll sneak into second place.

    Gillingham's run in is tough. Fingers crossed they f*ck it up and we don't.

    I've got us to beat Burton, Posh and Colchester, and drawing both the dem blades and Wigan games. 11 from 15 pts.

    Finishing on 76 pts, in 6th position.

    Bradford finished 8th.


    Wigan up as champs by 10 points. Burton cling on to 2nd.


    Southend and Port Vale are involved in a lot of games of interest to us. And Rochdale.




    It's wide open. But 11/12 pts should do it.

    Even if we lose at Wigan on the last day and draw at Blunts. I have us on 75 points in sixth place, same points as Gillingham, who have a superior goal difference and Bradford, who have an inferior gd and are seventh. Walsall are promoted with Wigan and we would play Burton in the semis, with Gillingham playing Millwall.

    I don't think I was either over-optimistic in our results, nor over-pessimistic in those of the others. It should be an exciting few weeks, as long as we win the winnable games. I had us down to beat Burton on Saturday.
