wow - looks like we've found our next coach with a google search.

"coach" "develop young players" "Gegenpressing" "good football"

1st search result in google :D

Looks like he has a lot in common with Daniel Stendel. Which is fine, as far as it goes.

So next season we will beat up League One. Then follows the firesale. Then follows Struber becoming pissed off. Then follows another relegation. I really can't see why it will be any different, apart from the fact it is likely to be played out in front of fewer fans. #wewon'tgetfooledagain

It’s all part of the plan mate don’t worry about it, first we need to be relegated though and then the league one players we bought this season will shine in the lower division thus rising their stock value.

Get promoted, the best players we have and the cycle rolls on.

Certainly seems to fit the model the owners want. Barnsley fans will be very cautious though and I’m sure season ticket sales will drop. I, for one, won’t pay the same price if we’re in League One.

I probably will. I enjoy the L1 seasons. It's the following year back in the championship after the next fire sale that I will think twice.

Reading the Watford set up, looks as though the youth policy is not working for them either

Give him a chance if he is the man. I don't get what he'll be able to do differently to achieve results to keep us up outside a transfer window without deviating from the plan but it is what it is.

No - you won't convince the doubters who post on this board. I welcome Struber - actions will speak louder than words. If he turns things round for us, and I hope he does, people will be celebrating.

what evidence do you have that anyone will “turn it around” as you put it. What part of the owners don’t care if we win or lose isn’t getting through

"The owners don't care if we win or lose" So why are they reportedly paying 1 million Euros in compensation to Wolfsburg for Struber? If they didn't care and didn't want to spend, then it would be a much cheaper option to give the job to Murray, wouldn't it? Of course I have no "evidence" that the situation can be turned round, but I have hope that it can - indeed I have belief (though I don't want to sound like Jose Marais) If your opinion is true why are you even bothered? I don't sign up to your belief that the owners don't care if we win or lose. I understand every bit of the statement and reject it completely.

Im genuinely interested too in why they are paying a reported million pounds for a coach but would not pay half of that for players who could have helped this young team. What’s the reason? I can’t work one out.

my opinion is as true as the next opinion, it’s one shared by many it seems. As for being bothered I’m less bothered as each day passes. If you are treated badly o my a fool rushes back for more if the same treatment.

Think the million is more likely to be the contract in its entirety
