Regardless of views people may have on the monarchy there can be no doubt that there re hundreds of thousands of people who have a high level of respect and affection for the late Queen . A small proportion of those queuing may oy be doing so to say 'they were there' at a big moment in history but many are there to pay their respects. I wonder when Putin and others like him who rule through fear die how their demise will be responded to by the population they controlled?
I imagine the population will feel obliged in Russia or suffer the consequences assuming he dies in office. If not then the new ruler will probably have trashed Putin and he'll get the same as Gorbachev got a few weeks ago. Not that Putin deserves to be honoured by anyone.
