Welcome aboard. The Arabs seem to be putting together another team of promising youngsters which undoubtedly other clubs will pilfer from. Hypothetically speaking, of your current crop, who do you think could do a job for us (Barnsley)? Nothing like divided loyalties
TBH out of our salable assets Jonny Russell and Gary McKay-Steven will command the biggest price when we ultimately do sell. Absolutely no disrespect to you and Barnsley but the premiership would IMO be the destination for these two. They really are that good.
No disrespect taken. As you'll be aware we recently sold our 'own' saleable asset onto the Premiership and at least you're getting to see them play a little before they're sold. I've seen a little of both and they do look impressive though it's hard to gage how good they are when you only see the odd 5 minutes on Sportscene. Also, I hope they make a better fist of it than David Goodwillie who seems to be struggling to even get a game for Blackburn in the Championship. I'll just have to wait until they graduate to the National team and then I can get to see them at Hampden
You're right what you say about Goodwillie. Went to Blackburn and disappeared. What a waste of good talent. Don't you think he might have done a job for Barnsley as he does seem right out of things at Blackburn. Admittedly the step up to prem level is huge and only those will exceptional talent seem to make it.

Goodwillie's definately got the talent but then I would have said the same thing about Gary O'Connor at the same age. Hopefully, a good manager will get hold of him and knock him into shape or I feel he'll end up like O'Connor.
Welcome aboard. Quarter Scottish meself. My Grandad was from Coatbridge, Albion Rovers being my Scottish team. He adopted BFC when he moved down here and the rest is history
