    Long and short of it is

    My boss is on a stag doo all weekend where he's best man.

    The manager below me is wanting to go see her Dad in Dubai and once she heard our Wembley visit was the same time as the Grand Prix she spent the whole of Monday night in tears apparantly.

    So I'm the only manager in the country, and if the weather is good that day we'll take anything between 12-18k behind the bar.

    I'm royally ******!

    My only option is to send a pleading e-mail to my football loving area manager to see if she'll send some staff over here for the day

    What a HUGE relief.

    Thought I had blundered with my flight leaving bloody India at about KO time had it been a Saturday.

    Now I arrive at Heathrow Saturday 19.00, short drive to Wembley and our hotel (booked immediately after the Chelsea game, fully cancellable) before a leisurely start and a brisk walk to the stadium on Sunday.

    Apologies to those hoping for a Saturday, but what a fantastic relief for me and Mrs Fuego.
