Why wasn't he even on the bench against blunts?
Most times hes come on this season hes made an impact, future prospect.
And i'm sure a few clubs will be watching his as hes only a young 'un.

I see where your coming from

and personally i would have liked to see him start last night, but then if he was on the bench last night at the expence of Hallfredsson, then people would ask why Hallfredsson wasn't there and i cant see why he would rplace a central midfielder for say one of the strikers on the bench etc. Don't think Butterfield has had a bad minute on the field this season, but he's only 20 and his time will come.

I think he should be starting games now

We need an attacking option in midfield, Doyle or Colace should be on the bench.

    We've got that...

    ....from Hammill and Anderson.

Doyle and Colace are doing fine - just have a look at our record with those 2 in the middle.

Just because they don't score goals or put a striker through with every pass doesn't mean they're not doing a job.

What people forget its a team game

Colace and Doyle are overing for Anderson and Hamill allowing them the fredom. It may not look like Doyle is doing anything spectacular but what he is doing is covering ground and slowing the opposing teams attacks down hence our better record when he is there
