How come we didn't ask about him coming back for rest of season

Apparently we did but he didn't want to come back

Hughton chose the loan destination. Jacob would have loved to have returned.

I didn't realise that mate, I thought I'd read it somewhere he didn't want to come back.

Some fans want him to fail because he left us. He's a talented lad - of course he was going to move on. Personally I hope he sets the Premier League on fire.

Arsenal fans were slagging off Robin Van Perse the day he signed for United - one footed, light weight, injury prone, he'll never have another season like last year... Pure bitterness. He's shown them and I hope Butterfield does the same.

Not true matey, his gaffer wanted him to go to Bolton, which in hindsight was a bad move for Jacob and one that probably cost Keith hill his job. And I would also question why we didn't insist that we had first dibs on any loan to a championship club, but erm it seems we don't deal in foresight at bfc.

Yep I don't think we do sell-on clauses at Bfc

Not what Butterfield actually said according to (I think)the Chronicle...didn't think a move back was right for him
