I would like to say 'on his day he's a good player at this level' and then realised he had one good game in two years at us lol
He did all right for us to be fair, especially in the Flicker survival run. That goal against Hull was great. I think the moment I gave up on him though was that red card against Wednesday when we were chasing the game
I like this little snippet. "I have brought Jacob to the club as I feel he fits perfectly into the vision we have for our team on the pitch and into the new DNA profile for a Bury player"
There's plenty of Bury's new DNA on police profile - haven't Mellis, Pope and Clarke all been arrested at various points in the last few years?
So glad I don't have to listen to his waffle any more, he could give 1000 words for a yes or no answer surprisef he didn't manage to mention his kids playing footy in the garden in that interview
It seems that Bury have recruited well. Their aim will be to cement themselves as a league 1 side and the players they have brought in should enable them to do that.
If they're relying on Mellis bothering to turn up once every 16 games then they'll be back in league two very soon.
