The lad is going to be a top class player but a think it's time to take him out of the lime light and give him a breather. Last few games at home he seems to have been pulled to pieces and the opposition must know that our right hand side is very weak at times. A do think there we're a lot of positives tonight, we looked dangerous going forward and on another night we would've had 5/6 goals, 2 crazy blunders have cost us dearly but a think we're heading in the right direction. Missed bailey tonight I think, young digby looks a yard off the piece but a suppose he's going to need a run of 1st games A lot on here seen to think we have the divine right to walk over teams just because we're EX championship!!! Get real, there's some good teams in this league..
If the only alternative to James Bree is Reece Brown then I'm afraid Bree has to play. Seem to remember that Bailey has played right back for Derby but I could be wrong?
I'm not knocking the lad by a long shout but for a 17 year old to be in a team that's not doing great at home well I'd look at just giving a few games out. I'd not be against cranie at FB and brown at CB as I feel that's were browns best position probably is.
I thought the other full-back was a bigger issue. Replacing Bree with Brown, in the context of the game at that stage ranks amongst the more bizarre substitutions I've witnessed.
I'm afraid Brown's best position is anywhere away from the matchday squad. Shocking defender. If they start an olympic sport running the 100m backwards he'll have a new career.
Agree with most of that, Bree looks a real prospect and probably does need a bit of a rest. Shame there's only Brown to replace him. However I disagree with this bit: No-one thinks we've a divine right to smash every team in League 1. But you'll understand that people take a dim view to bottling 2-0 leads, being thrashed by MK Dons and Swindon and woefully underperforming with a team containing Jennings, Treacy, Hourihane, Cole, Ramage, Cranie, Turnbull etc.
