Have they even had scouts at Oakwell last season?

"The 22-year-old joined Barnsley in 2013 from Bayern Munich for a fee of £250,000, but saw his time in South Yorkshire hampered by injury".

That's one way of putting. It's not how I would describe his stay with us however.

Think that's a typo - it should say "injured by hampers".

Do they not think it's odd that we cancelled his contract a year early?

They did get him playing last time though so I suppose it could happen again.

I still think Jennings may turn things around and get back hos career back on track... I wonder if in 2years we say he was the one that got away

Called it when he left. Said a championship club would be stupid enough to want him so leaving his failed career with us would actually give him a career boost.

Nah,lazy at Tranmere, Munich and with us. You cannot afford rare glimpses of talent on high wages. Rather have talent who give 100% every week. Good luck to him but I think he will struggle as it is an attitude thing with him. I am more interest who Lee attracts to the Club.

Why good luck to him ??

Loads of kids would give their right hand to play pro football and he couldn't be assed to get himself in shape

Hope he drops lower down the leagues

Now if only LJ had postponed the "on your bike" conversation for a week or two.

He could have called his mate at MK (well, they are all his mates aren't they?) and said "Hi Karl, got a great deal for you here. You remember that fantastic winger you borrowed from us? Well, you can have him for what we paid - take him today".

Might have worked. Instead, we have lost £250,000 plus thousands more in wasted wages. Ah well, c'est la vie...

He's not a real footballer and they're not a real football club. Match made in heaven.

He played there on loan and by all accounts played really well

Can anyone think of any players we have signed who impressed in a brief loan spell but when signed permanently werent the same player at all. I can think of several :)

I think MK Dons may have made the same error. No question he has the ability but he hasnt shown the right mental attitude here and I dont see why that will change at MK dons

LJ told them he's twice the player they had on loan and they snapped him up. They didn't realise he meant it literally.

Well I've said it all along, that kids gonna make it good!

He's a young lad and despite all your remarks about weight etc etc! Confidence and perhaps that's what's gone...down here at Oakwell with all the stupid thick idiots that shout brainless remarks that can seriously injure someone's confidence for good never mind for a season.

I was at Doncaster last season and the lad looked lost ,fed up ,and to be honest not up for it but some brain box and his pal in front of me my 3 kids and wife started shouting ,'Jennings get the f'mck off you fat pie eating C.nt. ' my little lad at 6 sat behind this idiot still mentions this now so believe me jennings at such a tender age he's gonna take some nursing.

Someone will get the best out of him, just like ferguson managed to do with wayward lads, natural talent in abundance . And I've seen natural talent believe me as once upon a time I was offers professional forms for a yorkshire club but guess what due to ' something in my head' things just didn't work out.

I hope he makes it back and quickly ....... Watch this space
