    Who said Jennings was better than Hammill? Seriously? On the basis of what? 1 game? He might be of course, but to say so is silly talk.

    No idea but Nudger seems to have heard them. Its not long since some on here were calling Hammill a busted flush based on his career since he left us.

    Of course we would. But when have we, as a club, ever gone out and signed seasoned Championship players? Jennings is one to bring on and develop over the next couple of years. Nothing wrong in that.

    Give Jennings a chance for foooook sake he has not played that much football over last few years

    That's not the point...............of course I'm giving Jennings the chance.

    My point is this..........some on here always seem ready to verbally attack any of our previous players.

    Yes some on here at the time of Hammills availability and then Jennings being brought in were saying Jennings is better than Hammill
    Jennings has to be an exceptional talent if he is better than Hammill

    Latest addition to the abuse is about Golbourne..........i.e. comments such as 'he was never any good'

    Wolves haven't come in for any of our other defenders.........because they have cherry picked our best

    Adam was great for us, lost his way but I reckon the talent is still there. Dale is in a similar situation, but seeing him in the U21s it's clear he's far from his best form he showed at Tranmere. Hammill has the potential to skin us alive tomorrow, I can't see Dale getting a game to be honest.

    Maybe in a year's time it will be fair to make a comparison.
