Up there with one of the best full debuts I've seen from a Barnsley player. Just what we've been crying out for. Lost count of the amount of blocks, interceptions and tackles he made.

I was just reading that when he made his professional debut it was as a replacement for Kevin Betsy. Small world.

Cannot see Berry getting much of a look in now.

 

Superb. Why on earth wasn't he playing at Donny the other week? Might've been a different game if he had.

 

He reads the game so well and made many interceptions. Cracking debut and every minute I've seen him play he's been class, looks promising so far.

 

Played a great full debut tonight. The new Stumpy Sheridan, hard as nails, loves to get stuck in, can pass it as well, has a turn of pace over short distances.

Lalkovitch was good as well, gives us something different, created the goal, nice finish by Hemmings.

Ugly win to be honest, but 110% commitment, with Scowen setting the tone in Midfield.

Might just be turning a corner with Winnall now back to bolster the 110% effort department.

Mention for BFJ as well, best of an impressive back four.

A can see Berry or Bailey dropping in for Pearson when the young lad goes back

 

Pearson is diff class . Be nice to loan him for season too

 

And that would be a problem, as he's different class to those two. Harsh but true.

 

Great full debut, we looked much busier and more solid, what a difference one player can make.

 

All of the above and he has a fair leap on him too, won quite a bit in the air against the taller Oldham players.

 

I have heard that from someone else tonight about him ! Hope he turns out to be as good as Stumpy !
