Lacking match practise and as Robins said on Dee Dah FM, thrown in at the deepend against Nathan Dyer, who for me was by far the best player on the pitch if i'm honest.

Played fairly well against one of the best wingers in the league.

Good cross on him and I would have personally put him down the wing when Doyle came on. Thought Doyle was decent too, got stuck in and played the simple pass.

    Did ok considering...

More of an attacking player though so would be good to see him out wide. Put some decent balls in.

I agree, talent is there, and will get better as season progresses.

I thought he had a decent game. Dyer would have caused at lot more problems against Koz or Haimour. Handled him ok on the whole. Got forward often too. Worth a contract for the season surely. He will probably end up on the left of midfield once everyone is fit and available, but at least we know he can play LB.

Definately should be used more as a winger. I thought he dealt well with Dyer who's a very tricky player and was probably their man of the match.
