After a round trip here is what i thought of the game... I take back what i said about the spin of Anderson as I saw him today and he looked the part... however my man of the match goes to colace... He was really good got stuck in looked solid and covered and helped out the defense really well, one thing though tainted it, the lunge at the end of the game which earnt him a card, he dead legged himself as a consequence thats how high he was off the floor. As a team we look clueless going forward the amount of time KO was wide not central was astonishing he was always being caught offside and at the end of the day i am at the end of my tether to say hes no good for this league. Ian Hume was a nuisance to to the Southampton Defense however what effect does he have to scored the goals he as promised us when hes constantly on the left wing, Play him up front we have seen whats hes capable of. Firstly JCR should never have been subbed he was the only threat of goin forward, he got an ear bashing off Davey then 5 mins later subbed off for devaney whom opened up defenses this is where we should have gone 4-3-3 not stayed with one central striker. Darren Moore looked solid as did Souza however against the better sides they will be exposed by pace it as to be one or the other. I feel to take this team forward we need fresh ideas and Davey as to go, hes stubborn and thinks hes right I have yet to read his post match comments i willl say something on them shortly. On a sorry note we had Brain Deads shouting things at Davey, why these people go to games I dont know, as I said above he should go but I cant take a mans diginty off him like those did.
Good post, agree with most of what you had to say, although some fans thought Mullers saves were good, i agree , but Steele would have made the same saves. I agree about the personal abuse which Davey got , but on JCRs substitution it was clear he had no idea. Southampton were VERY poor but so were we and when we come back down to earth next week our frailtys will be exposed. Davey has to go and although the fans abuse was not acceptable, unfortunately i see those same fans at most away games, so it will only get worse as we lose more on the road
your right, i think it was a selection to win fans over, if i was Luke Steele I would be slightly unhappy about being dropped cos he asnt exactly been *****, but i think hes gt the stand up and be counted character and not give up with out a decent fight
