First of all i didn't think the right back at left back and left back at right thing worked. I think he did it because Blackpool play a right footer on the left and a left footer on the right. I don't think Jay Mcevley found it easy to play that way but he was good at left back when it changed. I thought the central defence pair of Mcnulty and edwards played ok. I also thought that davies general play was good but is goal poacher play was off it which it was before he went on the goal scoring run. I thought Jacob butterfield played well, I thought that is work rate was good and he made a lot of chances for other people. Some of the stuff that gets shouted at him is horrible though and they should shut it. Luke Steele, i thought he was off it today. Should have saved the first goal. Having watched the goals again i thought that Luke Steele couldn't really stop the second as vaz te missed it 7 yards out and that was it, in the net it goes. I thought he should have saved the pen though and he did too with is reaction. I thought James O’Brien’s work rate was top draw again but things didn’t quite work out for him today. Matt Done, I thought he played quite well in first half but when he went on wing he kept coming inside which meant we had very little width. He should really have put it away. I really think we need a stopper, I think we need drinkwater back if fit or Doyle recalled. People may think this is a crazy think to say but I think Paul Digby could do a job if picked, he sits at base of a 3 and breaks up play and picks good passes. A bit like Barry Ferguson did for B’pool today. And Ref was shocking for us all evening. Not a pen.
totally agree with Butters people need to stop talking ***** about him hes the best player at the club by far and when he leaves in jan i dont bloody blame him he wont leave this club for money he would get drove out by the constant stick same with Hammill.
