To one of the best sporting events on earth.

Does anyone have any predictions for the winner this year?

Wiggins and Sanchez are both out, Andy Schleck doesn't seem to be in great form, neither does Contador and Evans and Nibali seem to have concentrated on the Giro.

I think this year could be Froome's year so hopefully he can win the Dauphine to give him the momentum going into the Tour. Outside of him I predict big things of Janez Brajkovic and Pierre Rolland. It's also about time Kreuziger returned to some form in this race but obviously he will be riding in support of Contador.

Hopefully it'll be Froome, but I fancy Rolland to be there or thereabouts.

Can't wait. Fcukin' love Le Tour.

It's a shame Wiggins is out, it's stripped a layer of intrigue from the Tour. There would always have been the possibility if it was close of Wiggins just telling Brailsford to f.ck off and having a crack at it.

I'd have Darts in the Olympics

but then I'd also have fox hunting in. We seem to do well with the posh boy sports.

Not of any interest to me I'll be watching Wimbledon around that time. Each to their own though.

Evans did the Giro as a warm up, but still did well. I think he is aiming for the tour.

Hesjedal has a point to prove after Le Tour last year and the Giro this, so could be a dark horse. I think its between Froome and Contador, although Kreuziger, Porte or Van Garderen could come into it with an unfortunate even to the team leaders. Froome is looking strongest at the moment, but the pressure of team leadership could get to him.

Polka dot could well be a surprise - like Voekler last year.

Can't wait. 3 whole weeks of doing bugger at work trying to keep up with the updates then watching the highlights :)

You should have had the layabout shot. Winston was always useful for things like that.

I must also ask, how did he afford such a thing? Either you are paying him too much or covering him with insurance! You've gone soft.
