    Was glancing back through the archives and came across the Kev Nutting thread from 2007 ! I was around round that time and remember going in the supporters club door at half time as a 17 year old to join the club and being met with what later transpired to be Kev, Reg, Steve Hallsworth, Steve Harker and Rog with his Afghan coat. Had some great times with them in Sheffield at a few of the headbanging pubs along with Dave Clowery from Kendray.
    Just wondered if any of them were still around ?
    I know Kev sadly died and if it's the same Reg he died of liver disease. He worked in Wombwell later on in his life
    Also remember Selwyn, Fudge, Hodgy who drove the bus, Cuz and others
    When I got more sensible I used to go to games with Pete Darwin, Dave Starkey and the Blandamours !

    Harker sadly died a few years back. Hallsworth is still rambling around Wath, looking more and more like the cover of Aqualung. Last I heard of Reg, he was living out Burnley way, Rog I believe lives in the Sheffield area last saw him in Mount a year or so ago.

    Kelvin still goes to every game home and away, ashley only does home games and odd few aways. Remember Zac used to be on the door at social club is in bad health

    Cheers for that. Sad to hear about Steves passing, we had some good times together, he could sure drink Southern Comfort. Think it must be a different Reg as I think he worked at Perfecta bedding but could be wrong. Been darn sarf for 24 years and my visits are limited to maybe once a year.
    Next time I get to see the Reds is at Leyton Orient as I can't do weekends these days

    I'll deffo be there.My better half is from Penistone, well Cubley, btw, Susan Fieldsend,and my sister Carol lives there in Shelly Close I think (she's just moved)

    I saw that on the news at the time, so sad and makes you wonder about how fragile life is sometimes. She's married to Chris who drives for Argo feeds.
    This reminds me of a conversation a few months back when I told someone I lived near London and they said they had a friend in London and did I know them ? I had to explain that quite a few people lived in London and I didn't know all of them :)
