    Appointed Darlington assistant manager. Remember when we signed him with Van Der Laan. First time hed played outside top division. Used to argue all day with mates at how good he was. Mite admit now he was Tonk!! :D

    He wasn't THAT bad.

    Some of his little touches and his vision were quality. And his experience, I'm sure will have helped the boys along steadily.

    The fact is, we signed him about 7 years too late.
