Just read a post lower down and the idiots have got him down as a boozer before he's kicked a ball, the lunavy on this board beggars belief.
We can only wait and see . If he plays tomorrow and scores a few goals then he will be the finest player to ever to put on a red shirt. If by some chance he has a mare, and that his more likely for this will be his first appearance since the begining of October, and he will be not match fit, I have seen new players come in over the years he will be crucified on this Board by kids. And only kids, some of us who have seen players come in and have not performed in their matches were given time, Ronnie Glavin is a good example. I don't expect us to win on satdi, but give the new lads a few games at least, before galvanizing an opinion.
Correct, I nearly posted the fact that King Ronnie was one of the worst players I'd seen in a Barnsley shirt until he told Clarky to **** off and let him play his own game, that was at half time at Chesterfield, came out after half time and ran the show and the rest was history as they say.
Yep me too, I wish some of the young posters on this site could have had the privilage of seeing Glavin. He would have kept BarnsleyFC in the Championship. Quick , could beat a man, skilfull, and he knew where the onion bag was. A truly fantastic player, the best i have seen watching Barnsley for 40 years. Amen
I know lets hark back to the good old days again. We ough tto get black and white shirts and become newcastle fans
