Britain as a govenment is better equipt to cope with recession in europe, but the british people arethe worse off in europe.says alot about how the govenment have been robbing its people to fill its own coffers for the last ten years.
Scrapping tax on domestic fuel would be a good move at this stage. imo , but tight arse brarn wouldn't give us the steam of his *****(unless it was taxable ofcourse)

Brown may not be up to mutch but wait until you get Cameron and his posh mates in,you will suffer then.
Not arguing here, just interested in where you got the info that "the british people are the worse off in europe"?
Free Healthcare, Benefits can do **** all and earn 4 times as much what they can in there own country for working a hard jobn plus they can live like royal for the benefits they claim for there Kids bakc in there own country (applies to EU only)
probably referring to this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...benefit-paid-foreign-chldren-live-abroad.html
sorry I probably worded that wrongly.
What I meant to say was the british people are least equipt to cope with recession, ie we have the largest personal debt.
on about it on newsnight the other night.

Still ridiculous though. There are a quite a few more expensive things which the newspapers gloss over.
Trades Was looking through the skill shortage lists (July 2008) for Australia and New Zealand. Australia's shortages are in regular things like engineers, computing professionals, dentists, carpenters, welders etc. But New Zealand has some really bizarre wants. Are you any of these? Beekeeper Beef, dairy cattle or sheep assistant farm manager (it's like they have one particular vacancy in mind) Sheep scanner (I wonder if they use baa codes - sorry) Bicycle mechanic (NZ is apparently full of bikes in need of repair) Horse trainer/Stallion master Jockeyskydive instructor Snowsport instructor Trackwork rider There are in truth other more normal trades in there. What do you do?
Having just come back into the country The grass is not greener on the other side. Other countries are having it much harder what with high taxes, poor wages and high interest rates compaired to the UK.
Personal debt is not the fault of Brown or anyone else...... as the term implies it's completely personal, if you can't budget your income, then, tough, as for Labour pinching off their own, well, what alternative do you suggest? Cameron is an upperclass simpleton surrounded by upperclass simpletons, a Thatcherite no less, good God is that not enough, the Lib-Dems, er to even consider these wishy washy weaklings would suggest that you don't really care for your fellow countrymen. Yes I agree Brown and Labour are far from perfect, but, this credit crunch is global mostly due to America's greed and Devil take the hindmost attitude, Labour in my opinion are far better equipped than any other party to deal with it.
