Why is Hassell playing in midfield ridiculous, everytime he's played there he's been more than proficient

He started against blackpool away and looked lost.

I think they're just about allowed on here.

Just to go completely off topic for a second Whitey but how far is your daily commute if you don't mind me asking??

Wasn't there this season so can't comment but I've seen of him to have a bit of faith in the lad.

Digby good enough for England but not for Barnsley based on your 20 minute evaluation of his talents. RNL not doing it in training rather than Jennings not doing it at all. Hassell don't see anything wrong with him being out of the team. Most managers want their people and Flitcroft is no exception in this. I'd rather he did not alienate two of our brightest talents though personally.

When did bobby hassell last play in cm? Also a ridiculous suggestion when far superior cm players were on bench.

Fair play to you. Worst part of working for me is the commute. And the job of course.

Like I said he played against Charlton and blackpool and looked lost in both games. Obviously not as ready as people thought, I'm not suggesting he won't be in the future though. Have you been watching training recently? Jennings obviously has being offering more and flicker obviously thinks he offers more than Rnl at this moment in time. Why else would he get the nod?

Who else's first thought would be to put bobby in cm in that situation?

Dunno. I can only think for myself. I thought he'd have been an ideal replacement for Fox who was tiring. Had it been Perkins to go, I'd have put Dawson on. Had it been a winger, I'd have put JOB or Cywka on. I certainly wouldn't have put Etuhu or Jennings on. But then, I'm not the manager and these are merely my opinions. Don't let them annoy you, pal.

In terms of Digby I think talking up his future then sending him on a nice loan to a decent league 1 team would be the way to handle him. I have seen RNL play and Jennings play and it's obvious who at this moment is the better player and it's not Dale. Unsurprising he is feeling dejected after playing well each time selected then being dropped again.

Jennings was the summers big signing for Flitcroft eventhough the kid hasn't done anything since he left Tranmere , he needs him to succeed or he loses face in the boardroom

We disagree massively on this. I don't know how you can say that about Jennings when you've seen him for about 45 minutes of football? Knee jerk rubbish, mate.

Lazarus, in my opinion, is still living on his early debut. I've not seen anything in terms of his performances that makes me think he can be a Championship player but then again he's never had a run.

I can only go on the bits of both players I've seen. And Reuben has scored goals at this level, made goals at this level, all whilst never getting a run of games and under different managers in different positions. Jennings has looked gash when I've seen him. And, I know you've never rated RNL so I see no point in arguing anymore, mate.

I haven't wrote Jennings off. But he's not ahead of JOB, Cywka or RNL in my opinion, and Flicker admitted earlier that he got it wrong Saturday. Fair play to him for that.

Both RNL and Dale look good in this u2 game, mind. Linked up well. Play em both! :D
