Carey at Plymouth? Older head. Set piece specialist. Proven at this level.

On paper very poor but he barely starts so makes his record look far worse than he is also as I mentioned often not utalised in his favoured set up. His record in actual starts is actually very good I think.

According to what I’ve seen online he made 25 apps last season but only played a total of 1178 mins of football and scored 5 and assisted 1 so the stats make him sound worse than he is. Plus as you say is still very young

I wanted him, besides Bradders & Moore
Not instead of one of them.
I hope we have more than one lined up.
STill can't believe we aren't getting £2 million minimum!

60 goals in over 300 games many at a lower level would suggest he’s not a replacement centre forward though.

I'm not sure we really need goals from Bradshaw's replacement. He's certainly not scored many this season (despite a few chances). It's the work rate and pressing from the front that has made him valuable so far.

I'm not saying goals aren't valuable, by the way. Just that they're not the part of his game we'll miss the most if he leaves.

Not L1, but Christian Doidge at FGR is someone that appeals.

Always comes down to market forces. Bradshaw wants away. We face him leaving for nothing in less than 12 months. Nobody has come in with a huge bid, so the market is dictating his possible value.

if a replacement that matches his work rate, and possibly has more attributes than Bradshaw, is younger and signed on a longer contract... its an absolute no brainer. What we don't yet know is who we are looking to sign and what their attributes are like.

Like it or not, our whole business model is based on a never ending conveyor belt of sign, develop, sell.

If Bradshaw didn't have a relegation clause, you can understand the club being keen to sell. If the player did have a relegation clause, you can understand why the player is keen to move.

I said this weeks ago, so i'm not surprised its likely to go through today. The only slight surprise is it didn't happen before the perm transfer deadline.

Let's watch with interest what incoming transfer business we have lined up.
