I don't know where it will all lead, but the amount of clubs in foreign hands, especially the recent avalanche of middle-eastern money, just doesn't seem right. Nothing against owners from any background, but the sheer number now must raise questions about the traditions and heritage of some clubs. The upper echelons of the league structure is fast becoming a playground for rich people taking clubs and creating franchises through which they can exert influence, mess about and in limited cases, make finanical gains. When it was just the Premiership I thought well, it's inevitable. But now the Championship is heading the same way... how can we compete?
