........... I really am struggling to decide who I would most like to see that back of. In an ideal world, Southend would pass them both and my season would be perfect. However, reality suggests that, provided we do the business, it's one of them for the drop. I have hated Leeds the longest, along with most on here. But, living in Hull, working with the johnny-come-lately's who follow the Tiggers (yet never went to Boothferry Park), I am really excited at the thought of their bubble finally bursting and watching them desert in droves next year. So, that's decided then, Hull for League 1.
I gotta say Leeds having never lived in Yorkshire, I have no grudges per se with people from either place, and never have to put up with their dillusional viewpoints. What edges it for me is Leeds' (and the media and everyone else seemingly) viewpoint that they can't go down because they are 'huge'. I'd just love to see another so called 'massive'`club having to suffer like we have in that poxy little league

Make your mind up! On Monday you were wanting Leeds to go! Let's face it, as long as we stay up then it's likely to be one of those 2 going, don't be getting greedy and wanting both, as nice as that would be. But the thought of us staying up whilst Leeds go down, what a feeling that would be! Even better than sat in a bar in Amsterdam last year, with a Watford-supporting mate and the rest of the place Leeds fans, watching the playoff final - and then saying to the Leeds fans, "hope to see you next year"!
I hope you are right, i just have this gut feeling that the relegation battle will not be decided untill the last game of the season. We will be in the thick of it to the very end, ( It's never straight forward and simple and predictable when the Reds are concerned) Teams like Leeds, Hull, Southend, Leicester, Qpr are like ourselves fighting for their lives. They are not going to surrender easily, so if fans think it's all over bar the shouting then results at the end of the season have a nasty habit of breaking fans hearts
RE: pessimism is a disease nt No it isn't! it's being realistic, i think we will survive, and all the other fans in the relegation battle think their team will survive.
I think he's got a fair point Looking at form of the teams Leeds and Hull have to play they've got really nasty games. Having said that, QPR had by far the worst run in the last 7 games have drawn away at Derby, beaten Preston and won two away games, and put a decent fight up against WBA and Sunderland. Who would have bet on us beating Birmingham. We look like we should do it ... but it only takes a couple of freak results
Only one answer to that
I think the whole country want Leeds down, never mind us Barnsley fans. Wasn't the same when Wednesday went down, or us to a lesser extent, or Forest- it was newsworthy but you didn't actually see fans wishing ill on these clubs.
I think if you straw polled a selection of fans from every club, you'd find thatmost want to scum to go down.
I will be buying champaign the day they go down, and will be praying they do get relegated.
It would actually take some of the gloss off us staying up if Leeds did too. And if they stay up and we don't, it doesn't bear thinking about.

For me it's got to be Leeds me dad supports them and at the minute the house is split and we are always arguing so at the end of season when they go down i'll be able to have all the bragging rights. Oh an hopefully Southampton will do another 5-1er like they did too us, as my dad will be going.
it would be great for all the league one teams to get to take the micky out of leeds at their home ground, wonder how full t would be ..
RE: Aye, anytime mate. You got any satdi's off before season end? nt Not setdi's, but hoping to mek WBA. I'm down here all this week if you fancy a jar.
RE: Aye, anytime mate. You got any satdi's off before season end? nt Shame, some of us are flying off to Lanzarote tomorrow for a beano. Or I would have come for a jar.

RE: Make your mind up! Yeah I know I'm forever changing my mind, but that's what a chat with the Hull City fans at work does for you!. Not to mention the condescending local rag. Last night they actually printed a letter from a Barnsley fan living in East Yorkshire, who basically had a go at the paper for bigging up Hull at the expense of "little old Barnsley". The editor proceeded to do a hatchet job on the Barnsley fan. The resident Leeds fan in on shift tomorrow, so a chat with him, and I'll be back to wanting Leeds down instead!
