If Conway and co were planning legal action in the event of relegation, it's all the more important now to do it from a position of 'zero gain.' Assuming the Wigan appeal goes as it should and we're guaranteed Championship status, it would be great to see BFC push for further action, leading the charge for others.
Agree and Wednesday must be punished this season, their offence was worse than Wigan, they have to go down
Assuming the appeal goes the way it should? The EFL will crumble and we’ll be offered a wedge of cash to compensate. I feel a Tevez coming.
The thing is though, if Derby and Wendy’s get deductions next year it will provide a bit of a cushion at the bottom of the championship
i dreaded the 21st spot as the onus is on them to fight any legal battle should they win, honestly if they changed the rules and kept wigan in the championship & relegated us i'd be devastated whereas if they were to deduct wendys 21pts next season, i'd be happy now ;-)
I think it’s massively helpful in this situation that Conway has been so bullish about the other situations; it means the EFL won’t lie down if they decide to do anything about upholding the appeal...
Every other club has had to cope with the Covid situation and haven’t gone into administration. No excuse Wigan.
