    3-

Players can be controlled just by the manager shouting at them. Like FIFA09 or PES or something...

    4. Three substitutions may be made during the course of a match

if with 15-30 minutes remaining you find that your gameplan is no longer working you are fully entitled to use all three substitutions to try to change things.

unless you're davey then you do a like for like swap up front if you are winning or take a winger off for a striker if you are losing.

They are the rules of substitutions in simon davey land

    5-

There exists a magical mystery Simon Davey Land.

What substitution would you have made?

I wouldn't have named a bench consisting of 3 strikers when i already had 3 on the pitch

I would have ensured that MY squad contained a balanced bench and wouldnt let my ONLY back up central defender **** off to grimsby and my most experienced midfielder rot somewhere not even in the reserves

    RE: 5-

dunt know bout tonights match as I werent there but on Saturday I would have gone 3 at the back for a change (they only had 1 up top), swapped whaley for coulson on right wing and took van homet off for mossto??
instead we brought on another centre half for them in Odejayi!

    muller
    hassell souza foster
    jcr colace anderson coulson
    mossto
    macken cureton

that said I aint knocking Davey think hes doing a decent job - great point tonight with a much depleted side - 5 FIRST teamers OUT - Moore,Kozluck,Anderson,Devaney,Hume and against a team who are formidable at home a point is a good result, although Saturday was a massive dissapointment against ten men so he's sort of balanced it up a tad

    come on you reds!

RE: I wouldn't have named a bench consisting of 3 strikers when i already had 3 on the pitch

You're so much fun. Do you really think that if Atkinson was good enough he'd be at a league TWO side? And I would suggest that Johnson has a problem with playing in the reserves, as I sincerely doubt (or hope not) that Davey has barred him from playing for them, which leads to a lack of match fitness, and him not being up to a game.

If he'd have named a GK, 2 defenders a midfielder and a striker you'd still be moaning.

Hindsight is a powerful thing. I'd have settled for a point tonight.
