I think a lot of fans just love writing players off after a few games we've been doing it for years now, I really don't get the point in signing players and not giving them a fair crack, especially the foreign ones.
Different times though. Back then they didn't have phones. If they had a crap game they didn't know until they turned up to training. Probably happier times. No scrutiny and blind love. The only people that mattered were people that mattered.
Disagree. I reckon if they had a crap game they knew when they got back in the changing rooms, that's if they didn't know from hearing the fans in the stands or generally from self awareness. I also think that any player who uses social media is a bit daft (that shouldn't be the case but it is)
For whatever reason, Duff doesn’t want Iseka in his playing squad at this present time and has seemingly told him. It’ll be up to the player and Barnsley to do the deal and sell at whatever figure. I know it happens at a higher level, but I don’t think the club would enforce his selection particularly on a new manager. It does seem a bit crazy to us fans that he isn’t given playing time but we gotta have faith in Duff
Anyone considering buying Iseka has 25 Championship games to judge him on from last season. To change anyone's opinion he'd need to have been pretty prolific in these first few games, and if that was the case why would we benefit by selling him? More likely we'd risk him showing he can't perform at league one level either and further deterring any potential suitors.
Maybe it will come out in the wash if any wrong doing and untold business was taking place when Jean and James have Conway and Co in court...until then it's pure speculation ....and leaves people wide open for libel and defamation of character charges if they suggest there was any wrong doing taking place ....
