Posted this earlier......but it seems it was wrapped up in other shenanigans and it went tits up So much so the admin folk pulled the plug on the thread Anyway Litmus Test When Kay got sent off Who came off the bench to replace him? Or Who took Kays place? Which either way you look at this you find a problem Firstly, Atkinson was on the bench but was not brought on e.g. instead of Hayes or Richards Why?..............my guess is because AR knows he aint ready So that asks the question - why hasn’t he brought centre half cover in if Atkinson is not quite ready? Secondly, if Hassle was brought into centre half and Togwell went to right back that meant we went 4 – 3 – 2. And got slaughtered 5 – 1. Why 4 – 3 – 2 ? Did AR go to this formation because he didn’t have an option to go 4 – 4 – 1 ? You dont keep doing 4 - 3 - 2 when the goalkeeper is constantly pulling the ball out of the net Again was it a lack of experienced players that forced his hand on this?
We got back to 2-1 against a top Championship side, with 10 men.
At that point, Ritchie decided at half time to go for the second goal. If we'd equalised, who knows what would have happened? The next goal was always going to be key and if they went 3-1 up, it was bound to deflate us. And it did.
We didn't bring Atkinson on because Togwell played in defence at his previous club and is capable - and Hayes is capable of playing in midfield very well.
Ritchie took the adventurous approach because we were always behind and needed to attack if we wanted to get a result - if we'd ever been level, I'm sure the approach would have been different.

Young Fugder- Stop fudging and tell us what you really feel. Why don't you eat your own scrotum.
I understand your frustrations at being beat but **** me up the fatima whitread.
Chill out and lick your neighbour owt of house and home while she's out or summat.

I switched off when you said Championship side.
We are a Championship side.
I hope the rest covers my further point of :
We had ten men with 80% of the game left.
Young Fudger can't help it.
Its not the end of the world

I said "top championship side" which we are not.
The rest of it..yep.

We agree then... Although you were right with the 'top' bit.
Not having a go at you anyway.
Fudge will fudge his way through it fudge by fudge.

I agree that they should have gone 4-4-1, and surely the option to do that was there as Hayes could be pulled back to play wide rather than up front.
blue touch paper comes to mind Y.N................ light then............stand back and wait for the explosive reaction. I like your style. Not posted to offend. Please accept it in the spirit that it was meant. Walking, eggshells and sensitivity also come to mindff ff ff ff
I reckon Ritchie tried to get something out of the game, going 4-4-1 would have meant that we would have been hanging on for 80 mins.
What would have been the point in that?
You keep banging on about experienced strikers as well, WHY?
Its quality in all areas we want not experience.

Rob Atkinson.... played for the first team like three years ago in league matches. So why does Ritchie think he's not ready now ? Really doesn't make sense.
RE: AR thinks Kay and Reid are better than him at the moment. Kay got sent off and he still didn't get on how about that for a reason ***** ?
Easy Tiger! We tried to get something out of the game.
AR obviously felt that by bringing a defender on we were less likely to do that.
What do you think we would have gained from bringing a defender on?
Who would you have taken off?
