Thought it was outstanding the way it was organised. Every pub I went in was rammed. I had to ask which pub was the Opium - thrre wasn't room to swing a cat in there when the Black Lamps were on. Some real talent out there in South Yorkshire although one or two could do with a new vocalist. Enjoyed a young band from Sheffield called "Scoundrel" who appeared in the White Bear, very talented kids with a bit of charisma and energy, must have been music students judging by the amount of equpiment they had. Red Jester were good in the Shakespear. Only disappointment was the headline act - Sour Cherry inWlakabout at 9:15. They played along to a backing track which I don't like but hey, the place was packed to the rafters so obviously someone must like 'em. Well done to the organisers - getting 99 bands to appear on time couldn't have been easy.

The organisers should take a bow I really enjoyed it, having said that..

Some of the times didn't follow as per the programme. I know it couldn't be perfectly synchronised, but some bands were halfway through their act even though I got there earlier than the advertised time. The Blah Bar prices are a disgrace, watched Hitomi in there and was going to go back to watch the Velcro Teddy Bears but i wasn't paying their prices again. Saw some great bands who I'd never seen or heard of before, but will watch out for them in future.
All in all a really good day and hope there's more to follow.
