Would love to

But we've had Labour, thats shifted over the last few years to Independents, and that's it.

No Lib-Dem again in my ward, would love to see them get a chance.

The presence of a BNP candidate in my ward will prompt me to vote Labour.

If you like your individual member then fair enough vote for them! But I would just like to see some new life breathed in and if they get a kick up the rear they might actually begin to listen to people! Vote for the indies then?

    Voted Independent last time.

Priority this time is to keep the BNP as far away as possible.

    We've had lib/dems for a few years

and they've done a good job in Liverpool but I wouldn't vote for them in a general election

Didn't come out as wasteful in the latest authority ratings

King's Dock project . building work around Chavasse park , new bus station , new art gallery at the docks , improved recycling , investment in poor areas like the one I teach in , stabilised the council tax after years of rises, primary and secondary school rebuildig program .That's a few good points. There's a better feeling about the city - there's been mistakes - the tram systems the biggest one - butpersonally I feel they've done well . Lot better than when labour was in charge

RE: Didn't come out as wasteful in the latest authority ratings

Well they have been very lucky. I'm not trying to nock them down they have had a major success in attracting the Paradise Project and getting the capital of culture!! But they have a lot of money to play with per head of population! It is one of the most deprived areas of the country and deserves to be restored to the great city of old. However I dont see it operating any more efficiently than the old militant Labour administration which was starved of external cash.

Liveepool is getting massive inward investment.

What I am saying is the Council tax is very very high and money and many council initiatives have over spent. Only a few months ago the leader of the council thought fit to spend thousands and thousands on a canapy to cover the cabinets cars at the town hall due to bird droppings!!!

    Bradford has no overall control.

Labour largest, followed by Tories then Lib Dems.Run by Tories with Lib Dem support.

A more corrupt and inept administration would be difficult to find. Loads of people at the top have hadto leave (with a big pay-off of course). They have wasted millions privatising the Education Service (currently ranked 149th in the country out of 150), tried to privatise leisure but had to drop it (again costing millions) as the person making the decision was found to havebeen on the take from the winning bidders.Could go on about loads of other stuff too, you don't know when you're well off!
