How much longer are the trust going to stay silent on the **** show that is Barnsley FC. Its now heart breakingley obvious that there is something very wrong at Oakwell something Toxic the players who were good enough last season have all just stopped playing for the club and the ones brought in this summer aren't anywhere near good enough. The trust need to start asking serious questions and not about the bloody catering.
I wouldn't agree there's something toxic. I'd agree we've assembled one of the worst squads in my lifetime and there needs to be public answers to how the club was managed over the Summer. Nine months ago we were arguing/debating about who would get drawn out of a ballot for tickets. The man responsible needs to be held accountable. We're getting the results we deserve. Unhelpful, not accurate, and unfair.
I'd say it looks very toxic. We had staff running for the hills a few months ago and not all to follow others. We've got rumours of players missing due to disciplinary problems. Players clearly not trying. Owners that are invisible. A CEO who lies. Looks about as toxic as it can get
Im not sure its purely up to the trust to raise issues. Im sure as individual fans, people can also raise issues with the club too. I don't know what the trust responsibility is or how its seen by the club but I guess they have a duty also to represent fans but they aren't the only ones.
In your opinion. You might be right - I was just responding with my opinion. A lot of those running for the hills ran for a lot more money at a far bigger club.
Oh don't get me wrong I know it's only my opinion. I also don't think it's the trust's place to go wading in about something like that
The Trust are there to try and represent the fan base and provide a link between supporters and the club. You have to try and act in the best interest of every supporter. Whilst I'm completely disillusioned with the performance in this game there's been posts over all the usual platforms telling people to lump on Forest as a home win banker - due to the fact we don't have our head coach in the dugout and don't really have a bench. Or a team. Or hope. I guess the issue has been the lack of effort from the players. Not just a straight forward defeat due to not being good enough.
I can understand them not wanting to go all in and do a boycott supported by the supporters trust like Blackpool did but we need some answers from conman and there comes a point where enough is enough.
I'm also not 'The Trust'. I might think something completely different to how the Trust acts. I've asked questions at Forums that don't particularly interest me or I agree with, but needed to be asked for other people.
I've just had a little look at the trust board out of curiosity. Who's Eric? Never heard of him before. Don't know why but I've instantly decided he's a lovely bloke
I have no issues with the trust whatsoever they did a cracking job with the chicken flatbread Q&A ( that’s a dig at the CEO BTW), yes they have the clubs ear but I’ll be honest they do not speak for or represent all Barnsley fans
Here here, were all frustrated its heartbreaking but self inflicted. And the zoom all the ceo admitted mistakes in were appointment of schopp and he seemed to admit oulare was a mistake. They havent a clue and dont care.
We've done alright serving you those pints you have no recollection of as well Of course the Trust doesn't speak for all Barnsley fans - that would be an impossible task. But I think you'll struggle to find an update in the last five years you disagree with.
