    but I think you've missed it mi old. this is a lunar eclipse, a solar eclipse is the other one

    Yeah I remember it, everyone went round selling so callled special glasses so we could look at the sun without hurting our eyes.

    it was more interesting than this lunar eclipse.

    1999...Cornwall and the south had a totality

    Pity it was largely overcast.

    Saw almost totality in Penistone as clouds cleared JIT.

    I think I was in Cornwall at the time, I can remember being on a campsite with the parents and everything went dark.

    I didn't appreciate it at the time. I just thought it was cool as a 9 year old would.

    Still now Ive remembered seing that one I won't have to hang around until 2090.

    We were near Calais for it just slightly outside of the best view nt
