Has to be the first one we get shut of. Massive waste of money. Scored 1 goal (pen) in god knows how many appearances. Anyone thinking he will be decent in league one needs sectioning.

I will swim across channel with him on my back if he wants to go back to France again. Total waste of money, doesn't look fit and has no threat what so ever. He basically the French league version of Maceo Rigters

At least we didn't spend any money on Maceo Rigters! Honestly, its frightening how many posts I'm seeing on here that people would keep him because he 'might be alright in league one.'

This is what happens when you buy players off a spreadsheet. Worst 900k I've ever seen spent.

He could be the worst 900k spent ever.

I was baffled a few months ago when folk on here were saying to play him over Bradshaw as he might come good. fast forward to now and he still has not come good. Still looks useless and I cannot see what he will offer us in League 1. He does not have amazing pace, he doesn't seem to be able to finish and his hold up play is average at best. I think we need to just cut our losses and get rid and give Victor a chance from U23s over him. Only position he seems to suit is RW in a 433 type set up but now Jose has gone we should look to steer well clear of that anyway.

He is not fit enough to play out wide in a 442 and he is not good enough to play up top.

He's nowhere near as bad as some on here make out. It was his first season in English football, and no surprise that as the season was ending he started to show something.

This is the second thread specifically targeting him, despite the fact his contribution to our relegation was minimal. Why? We spent more on McGheehan, who never even got close this season.

Just think we could have taken the million or so he has cost us and offered it to Watkins or Scowen in wages to stay.

He had a lot more to show when played on the wing. He actually got some decent crosses in, which some other seems to struggle to do. As a striker? Yes, that doesn't seem to work so well.

I'd keep him because, as poor as his contribution has been this season, we spent nearly a million quid on him and lack of goals aside, he's looked alright. Decent touch, decent ball in (got a couple of assists when Morais first came in I think) and I think he'll get more chances to score than in the Championship. Just seems a complete waste of money if we get shut straightaway.

That said, I'd like to see Adeboyejo given a chance too. Just depends if there's room for both in the matchday squad next season.

You are right its not just him. All the poor players we have wasted money on is shocking. Should have spent the same money on half the amount of players

Corrrect, he was not solely responsible for the drop nor was he largely responsible. And you are also spot on about other players that we signed not being good enough like McGeehan who we spent more on. I think we need to rid ourselves of some of the poor players in the side so we can look to replace with better. I would look to get rid of Thiam, McGeehan, Cavare (as his attitude stinks IMO), Mowatt and we know Yids will be going too. Then we can bring in some better signings to replace that can have a bigger impact.

There is that slight chance he could shine in League 1 but from what I have seen of Thiam and the others mentioned. I don't think there has been enough to offer any kind of promise but that is just my opinion.

He’s had plenty of chances, he’s not good enough, get rid.

Same with Moncur, useless, get rid.

Completely disagree about Moncur. He's probably the most gifted player of the squad. It's his application that needs to be questioned. If he can sort his attitude out and put in more effort, I can see him ripping league one up.

In my opinion he's had more than enough chances to get his attitude straight. Get shut. On the other hand, it's way too early to be writing McGeehan off.

Thi same watkins who handed in a transfer request before the season had finished and made it clear he wanted gone. Also 20k x 52 x 3 and you are still 2.1million short of what he got at Norwich plus a signing on fee.

Is he really on 20k a week? Find that hard to believe. I'd have thought 10/12k but if that's a actual fact?

I heard just under 20k so rounded it up. Can see it been true Norwich haven't paid a fee for him and in January they was talk of him leaving to Bristol city so they won't lose on him. He didn't want to stay just like yiadom doesn't think we could of done more to keep scower and he would of been just what we missed all season some who can tackle get stuck in and play football.

Ship him.out for me. Not up to English league football. Also try and sell on Mowatt and Knassmullner.
