So, you think we played MK Dons yesterday do you?

Is he still behind the goal this season?

Owing to the fact that I have only been to one home game so far - I have not seen the mentally stunted, glove wearing Schmeichel a-like.
He's probably got a Saturday job ... as Journo's boss.

I was very encouraged by Monty Burns' performance at Preston.
Actually looked like a footballer - which is always a good thing when you are being paid to play football for a living.

    Yours,

    The Full Erbabygravy.

    We did, stupid.

MK Dons have re-located to Swansea.
All the MK & Swansea players have been genetically morphed.
    Izale Trundle scored for them.

RE: # times he cuts inside a player...

    1. Define the difference between a 'proper footballer' and a 'trier'. Give examples.

    2. With reference to some crap efforts goal in at least three recent games, give examples of why there's a difference between it 'being on his wrong foot' and a player being '****'.

    3. 'At least he puts the effort in'. This is a f**king w**k excuse for a player who simply isn't good enough to be on the pitch. Discuss.

    4. A goalkeeper's feet and body go outside the area, but the ball and his hands remain inside it. People who shout 'send him off! Handball! He handled it outside the box' are which of the following?

    a) thick *****
    b) see a
    c) All of the above

    5. The defence concedes one goal in a game which is lost but which has been, on the whole, dominated by the Reds. How would you slate Antony Kay for being 'a f**king liability' in a moronically unreasoned style for the defeat?

    6. Explain why the two formations you know wouldn't work with the current playing staff.

    7. From the last 90 minutes, give two examples of 'a great pass', who did it, and why it was great. Then, using exactly the same pass under the same conditions, explain why it would have been **** if Kay/Conlon/Wroe had done it.

    8. Going to more games than the person next to you makes you much more qualified than him/her to comment on a player's performance during the current game. Is this ********, or what?

    9. Chris Shuker. Why?

    10. Given the standard of ***** we've signed over recent years, explain why Kell and Howard automatically make your first XI when fit. Award yourself bonus points if you've got a f**king clue who they are and have actually seen them play.

8 weeks, not quite 3 months

and then off to Wolves for a million quid, if their website is to be believed. but I take it back, Clive Platt will do the damage.

"Explain why the two formations you know ..."

    Hilarious. How true an' all.

I can see you've spent time on all this. Therapy is it? I often wonder why the same pass, in the same circs, in the same position is either "great" or "sh*t" depending on who made it. Which is why, in the interests of fairness, I showed who'd set up our goals last season and how. (One general jist being that minute for minute, in open play, Nicky Wroe was more likely to set up a goal than Chris Shuker...but some ppl simply won't have that!)

As for Kay, I've seen one person on here (I forget the name, but no-one whose opinion I've recognised as knowing owt) said Kay looked clueless at centre forward. Christ, he was there for about 3 mins as balls were pumped to his head. I can but wonder why Kay, with all his talent, didn't cushion the ball with his forehead, flick the ball over his shoulder with his left knee, then slam the ball home from 35 yards.

as for Kell and Howard, one can but think "well, they MUST be better than what we have", but no, I've no idea what either of them do, or how good they are, so I'm not getting my hopes up. How can I, with a mgr who wasted the chance of getting rid of XXXX and improving on the team?

I might be greedy. I might want to support a vaguely successful team. But I'll settle for one that plays football and does not settle for "at least he tried". Christ, I'D BL**DY TRY. And I'd be at least as bl**dy s*** as well. Which brings me round to my usual bugbear...what exactly IS the difference between Chris Shuker and Alex Neil? (both small, both 110%, both never will be good enough, always a close 2nd...etc)

    Difference is

Shuker got 8 goals last year and probably as many if not more assists. Alex Neil never got anything like that in all 4 years he was with us.

No, I'm not Shuker's biggest fan, yes I think our one attacking midfielder should have contributed much more, yes I think he's extremely limited in many areas, but he's a hell of a lot better than Alex Neil.

Neil didn't look too bad out wide...

in the 1 or 2 games I ever saw him there (Rushden away was one, where he helped destroy them...might've even scored)

I'd have loved to have seen Shuker try and play centre midfield.

No hang on, no I wouldn't. But I bet the likes of Kay and Austin wished they were so limited that they could cement a position in the team forever, rather than being shunted about.

Anyway Jay - who was your MOTM Satdy?
